ABOUT:

Amara is the little sister of our beloved Mahira, next door. Following in her footsteps is a 1 BR studio oasis in the Uluwatu Jungle. Perfect for those escaping the buzz of Uluwatu. Kick off your sandals and marinate in this home off the beaten path.

Our home is lovingly looked after by an epic villa management team. If you’re looking for a smooth-sailing vacation from your vacation, look no further.

We are located central to Uluwatu but 10 minutes from the main road; not walking distance to any restaurants or cafes. You will need transport to get around.

Options: book our transport team, rent a motorbike, hire a taxi or motorbike using the GoJek or Grab app. This is a quieter, more blissful area that feels most like old Bali. We hope you can indulge in the jungle oasis like we do. Use the complimentary in-house bluetooth speaker and put your favorite tunes on.

THE SPACE:

The Japanese term ‘kintsugi’ is the art of placing broken pottery back together to make something even more stunning. They are usually pieced together using powdered gold, platinum or silver. The creative minds behind this studio placed plenty of love and energy into each piece of furniture, joinery and position of outdoor plants in the garden. It was a true labor of love, an arrangement of beautiful pieces and we hope you feel the warm serenity of this space, too.

‘Amara’ is the sister property of ‘Mahira’ next door, which are the names of 2 of the 3 daughters of the local family who live just behind. The third sister, ‘Calista’ Studios is due in late 2024!

Nightly rates are currently discounted until November 15, 2024 in observance of construction noise nearby. Do expect noise on and off during your stay, while other times being quieter than others. Please inquire with our villa management team for more information.

Amara is a stylish studio nestled in a quiet Balinese neighborhood. Upon entering, you will notice stunning, intricate woodwork and custom Japanese-inspired furnitures made by a skilled team of local carpenters. This humble 1 bedroom home boasts high standards of quality and comfort.

The Kitchenette is equipped with an electric induction stove with cooking pots, pans, utensils, tableware and unlimited filtered water. This minimalist space makes magic happen.

Our favorite time of the day are sunrise and sunset when the soft golden light comes through the space.
